Texas Pickles: Cherith Valley Gardens

Alan Werner family picture Cherith Valley Gardens is a family operated business located in Fort Worth, Texas.

In 1986, Alan Werner was a principal in an independent oil company which collapsed after the 1987 stock market plunge. The Werner family discovered a desire to "return to the land." At that time they began gardening in order to to feed the family. After using their canned items as gifts, they were strongly encouraged to market their specialty products.

On May 8, 1993, the Werner family officially produced the first Cherith Valley Gardens product.
